Wells Fargo hits low after Sen. Warren's rant

Shares of Wells Fargo fell to their lows of the day during Sen. Elizabeth Warren's strong questioning of CEO John Stumpf during a Senate Banking Committee hearing Tuesday on Capitol Hill.

While the senators were united in their disdain for Stumpf, Warren, D-Mass., probably went the furthest, saying the CEO gave "gutless leadership" during this scandal, calling for him to resign and suggesting the Justice Department open a criminal investigation.

Here's the chart. Warren began speaking at 11:26 a.m. EDT.
