ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 03, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ:WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, announced its next-generation platform for Willis Towers Watson HR Portal Software. This release delivers an enhanced content management model, a streamlined approach to product upgrades, a more frequent update cadence and extended integration with other Willis Towers Watson software and service offerings.
Specific upgrades include:
- A simplified user experience, allowing clients to edit, personalize and publish content on their own
- A new platform, allowing for more frequent and more streamlined software upgrades
- Extended support for mobile devices
“As highlighted in Willis Towers Watson’s 2016 Global Talent Management and Rewards Study, benefits are a top driver of employee attraction to an employer. The study also highlighted the key role that effective use of technology and personal communication plays in building a culture of health and well-being. Willis Towers Watson HR Portal Software helps organizations with both of these challenges,” said Michelle Northey, Willis Towers Watson HR Portal Software product leader. “The enhanced content management capabilities allow employers to spend more time on the message and less time on the administration of their software.”
The new release transforms the way Willis Towers Watson HR Portal Software is designed, built and delivered to clients. The product will be updated three times per year and take less effort to deploy for the client. “We have focused on building a product that can be quickly updated to reflect the rapid changes most HR organizations are facing today,” said Northey.
This month, Gartner, Inc., the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, named Willis Towers Watson a “selected vendor” in the Integrated HR Service Delivery Platforms category of the IT Market Clock for Human Capital Management Software 20161 report.
This new release of Willis Towers Watson HR Portal Software is currently available for implementation to a limited number of early adopter clients, with extended availability starting in early 2017.
