Fogo de Chão Partners With No Kid Hungry® to Help End Childhood Hunger

DALLAS, Oct. 04, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Internationally-renowned Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão today announced it is continuing the fight to end childhood hunger in America through a renewed partnership with No Kid Hungry®. When guests visit any U.S. or Puerto Rico location from Oct. 3 – 9, those who donate $5 to the campaign will receive a voucher worth $25 off their next purchase of two full churrasco dinners*, redeemable Oct. 10 – Nov. 20.

“We are immensely proud to be partnering with No Kid Hungry to do our part in combatting childhood hunger in America,” said Larry Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Fogo de Chão. “Last year, our guests’ generosity helped the campaign connect children with more than 400,000 meals. And together, we’re focused on having an even bigger impact this year.”

The No Kid Hungry campaign works to shine a national spotlight on the crisis of child hunger in America, creating a powerful movement of individuals committed to bold action. A $5 donation at participating Fogo de Chão locations can help No Kid Hungry provide up to 50 healthy meals to the one in five U.S. children struggling with hunger.

“We’re very grateful for Fogo de Chão’s continued commitment to ending childhood hunger in this country,” said Diana Hovey, Senior Director of Dine Out for No Kid Hungry. “Solving this crisis is possible, and with the support of Fogo and generous contributions from diners across the country, we’re taking yet another step closer towards making a real difference in the lives of kids who need it most.”
