Leon Cooperman, chairman and CEO of Omega Advisors, shared his views on financial markets, the election and the insider trading allegation against him in an exclusive interview with CNBC.
On the market: "The market is fully valued ... not overvalued. ... There are many companies that are very cheap relative to the index," he said.
On negative rates: "There is $13 trillion of sovereign debt with a negative interest rate. ... The world is upside down," he added.
Cooperman founded Omega Advisors in 1991. Previously, the hedge fund manager was chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
