TROY, Mich., Oct. 20, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- David Binkley has been named as a 2016 Michigan Super Lawyer in the area of Business Litigation.
Mr. Binkley is uniquely situated to understand the needs of the firm’s entrepreneurial clients and is himself the co-founder of two national technology firms previously located in Southeast Michigan and now operating in Boston, Massachusetts and San Francisco, California.
Mr. Binkley has devoted much of his career to complex business disputes. Recently, David was the lead counsel in mass tort litigation filed in the Eastern District of North Carolina against seven of the leading mortgage lenders in a case described in the Charlotte Observer as “the biggest mortgage fraud case in North Carolina history”. Mr. Binkley’s practice also includes complex family law matters involving property division, parenting time and support. His business background provides him with the tools to properly assess the valuation and division of marital assets in a creative and constructive manner. David is also a volunteer speaker addressing questions from participants at Kensington Church’s Divorce Recovery program. This popular “Ask The Lawyer” evening answers questions from as many as 100 participants 3-4 times each year. He has also acted as a guest lecturer at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School on family law issues.
Mr. Binkley received his B.S. from Michigan State University and his J.D. from the University of Detroit.
