And yet, a vacation is not something the average U.S. worker gets to enjoy that often. Many workers don't get any paid time off, as federal law doesn't require it. And even those who do get paid time off often don't take advantage of the perk.

Glassdoor's new list ranks companies with the best vacation and paid-time-off policies based on employee reviews. To qualify for inclusion, each company had to have at least 30 reviews on the subject and an overall company rating of at least 3.5 out of 5 stars on the site.
