Shares of Splunk were up as much as 10 percent in extended trade Tuesday after the company released quarterly results. The software company reported adjusted earnings of 12 cents a share on revenues of $245 million. Analysts estimated earnings of 8 cents a share on revenues of $230 million. The company's upcoming fourth-quarter revenue guidance was slightly above estimates.
Autodesk saw its stock fall more than 3 percent after the bell. It reported a loss of 18 cents a share, which was less than analysts' estimated loss of 24 cents a share. It also posted revenues of $490 million, beating expectations of $477 million. The software company gave fourth-quarter guidance that was weaker than consensus estimates.
Nutanix shares were up nearly 4 percent in extended trade after the software company reported better-than-expected results. It reported a loss of 37 cents per share, compared with estimates of 44 cents a share. Its revenues of $167 also beat estimates of $152 million.
