Randi Zuckerberg has seen giant wealth firsthand and has a strong opinion on how money is best spent.
"Use your money to help expand your mind," the founder and CEO of Zuckerberg Media (and sister of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg) said as part of a larger campaign by the Council for Economic Education to promote financial literacy. "Buy educational tools, gadgets or money saving apps! Take coding lessons!"
Zuckerberg has been outspoken about the need for workers — particularly women — in science, technology, engineering and math occupations.
"I spent a lot of time being the only woman in the room, so I have a personal drive and passion to make sure that this tech skills gap applies to women and girls in a meaningful way," she said, in an earlier interview with CNBC.
"Stay hungry to learn more," Zuckerberg said. "Take advantage of the continuing education and training programs that are out there."
