Shares of PriceSmart declined more than 8 percent in extended trading after the warehouse chain reported third quarter EPS of 62 cents and revenue of $730 million, falling short of analysts' consensus expectations of 67 cents in EPS and $734 in revenue, according to Thomson Reuters.

Shares of Herman Miller jumped more than 7 percent after the furniture store reported fourth quarter EPS of 64 cents and revenue of $577 million, topping analysts' consensus expectations of $0.55 in EPS, according to Thomson Reuters. Revenue, at $577 milllion, fell short of analysts' expectations of $584 million. The company also raised its dividend.

Shares of Yum China fell 10 percent after the fast-food restaurant company reported second quarter EPS of $0.27, matching analysts' consensus expectations, according to Thomson Reuters. The company also reported revenue of $1.59 billion, which missed analysts' consensus expectations of $1.6 billion. While Yum China's KFC same-store sales exceeded expectations, Pizza Hut fell short, remaining unchanged.

Shares of Merck dropped 2 percent after the FDA put a clinical hold on three studies by the pharmaceutical company involving a potential treatment for multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.
