KeyCorp's 2nd-qtr profit more than doubles

July 20 (Reuters) - U.S. regional bank KeyCorp's profit more than doubled in the second quarter as total interest income rose 63.3 percent.

Cleveland-based KeyCorp said net income attributable to common shareholders rose to $398 million, or 37 cents per share, in the second quarter ended June 30, from $196 million, or 23 cents per share, a year earlier. (Reporting by Diptendu Lahiri in Bengaluru; Editing by Maju Samuel)
