Rockwell Collins revenue jumps 57 pct

July 28 (Reuters) - Aircraft components maker Rockwell Collins Inc reported a 57 percent rise in quarterly revenue as it gained from the acquisition of aircraft interiors maker B/E Aerospace.

However, the company's net income fell to $179 million, or $1.12 per share, in the third quarter ended June 30 from $214 million, or $1.63 per share, a year earlier.
