China H1 current account surplus equivalent to 1.3 pct of GDP - FX regulator

BEIJING, Aug 7 (Reuters) - China's first half preliminary current account surplus was equivalent to 1.3 percent of the country's gross domestic product, the forex regulator said on Monday.

China's preliminary current account surplus in the first half of this year was $71.2 billion and its capital and financial account deficit was $13.6 billion, according to data released earlier by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE).
