After-hours buzz: TRNC, NDSN & more

Shares of Nordson fell more than 10 percent in after-hours trading. The dispensing equipment company posted record third-quarter revenue, but said its guidance for the fourth quarter reflects "very challenging comparisons" to the year-ago period.

Shares of Tronc barely moved in light volume during extended trading after the newspaper and online media company named former Yahoo and Fox executive Ross Levinsohn as the new CEO and publisher of the Los Angeles Times.

Shares of beauty company Coty rose nearly 1 percent in after-hours trading ahead of the company's fourth-quarter earnings release on Tuesday. A Stifel analyst note published on Monday reiterated the brand's "buy" rating.

Macy's shares rose slightly after the bell following news that the company shook up its executive ranks and named former eBay executive Hal Lawton the retailer's president.
