US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St opens flat with an eye on N.Korea, White House

Aug 21 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks opened little changed on Monday, with investors keeping an eye on the White House as well as the simmering tensions between the United States and North Korea.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 12.76 points, or 0.06 percent, to 21,661.75. The S&P 500 dipped 0.77 points, or 0.03 percent, to 2,424.78. The Nasdaq Composite edged up 0.64 points, or 0.01 percent, to 6,217.16. (Reporting by Tanya Agrawal; Editing by Savio D'Souza)
