Thomas P. Bossert

Thomas P. Bossert serves as the Homeland Security Advisor to President Donald Trump. Previously, he was Deputy Homeland Security Advisor to President George W. Bush, was the White House director of infrastructure protection policy and headed the Federal Emergency Management Agency office of legislative affairs.

In the private sector, Bossert was a senior fellow for the Cyber Statecraft Initiative at the Atlantic Council and was president of Civil Defense Solutions LLC, a risk-management consulting firm.

Bossert graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in political science and economics and earned his JD from George Washington University Law School.
