GameStop quarterly revenue rises 3.4 pct

Aug 24 (Reuters) - GameStop Corp, the world's largest video game retailer, reported a 3.4 percent rise in quarterly revenue, as the company gained from higher demand for the Nintendo Switch gaming console.

However, the company's net income fell to $22.2 million, or 22 cents per share, in the second quarter ended July 29 from $27.9 million, or 27 cents per share, a year earlier.
