NEW YORK, Aug 30 (Reuters) - U.S. private employers added 237,000 jobs in August for the biggest monthly increase in five months, beating economists' expectations, a report by a payrolls processor showed on Wednesday.
Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast the ADP National Employment Report would show a gain of 183,000 jobs.
July's private payrolls reading was revised up to an increase of 201,000 from the previously reported 178,000. The report is jointly developed with Moody's Analytics. (Reporting by Richard Leong; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
