US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall Street rises, boosted by strong economy

NEW YORK, Aug 30 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks rose on Wednesday after stronger-than-expected U.S. economic growth outweighed concerns about escalating tensions between the United States and North Korea and the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 26.71 points, or 0.12 percent, to 21,892.08, the S&P 500 gained 11.26 points, or 0.46 percent, to 2,457.56 and the Nasdaq Composite added 66.42 points, or 1.05 percent, to 6,368.31. (Reporting by Rodrigo Campos; Editing by James Dalgleish)
