TREASURIES-U.S. yields turn higher as Democrats say Trump supports fiscal plan


NEW YORK, Sept 6 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury yields turned higher on Wednesday as top Democrats said U.S. President Donald Trump supports their plan to raise the federal debt ceiling and to fund the government as well as to approve aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

At 1:35 p.m. (1735 GMT), the yield on benchmark 10-year Treasury notes was up more than 2 basis points at 2.906 percent. Earlier Wednesday, the 10-year yield fell to a near 10-month low at 2.054 percent. (Reporting by Richard Leong; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
