CANADA STOCKS-TSX extends 14-week high, led by energy and bank stocks

TORONTO, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index ended higher on Thursday, extending a 14-week high on the back of gains for heavyweight energy and financial stocks.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed up 65.32 points, or 0.42 percent, at 15,454.92, its highest close since early June. (Reporting by Alastair Sharp)
