InsightSquared Strengthens Executive Leadership Team with Key Hires, Promotions

Industry veterans join the company to drive product innovation, revenue growth and customer satisfaction

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- InsightSquared, a provider of sales intelligence solutions for high-growth technology companies, today announced it expanded its executive team by hiring Geoffrey Greene as the chief technology officer (CTO) and Matisha Ladiwala as the GM of Slate. The company also added Kia Puhm as an advisor and interim head of services, and promoted its current vice president of marketing Joe Chernov to chief marketing officer (CMO) and director of HR Jared Sharp to vice president of people operations. The expanded executive team will help accelerate product innovation, drive adoption of its fast-growing Slate product, and improve the customer journey.

Greene brings 20-plus years of leadership experience in SaaS, technology and engineering. As the CTO at InsightSquared, he will lead and oversee the company’s engineering and technical infrastructure. He previously served as the CTO at Valore, where he managed every aspect of the organization’s technology including software and infrastructure engineering and architecture for all platforms and products, and prior to that as the CTO of Gemvara.

Ladiwala has more than 17 years of experience in operations and business intelligence. In her role as the GM of Slate, Ladiwala will oversee the product’s development, direction and go-to-market strategy. InsightSquared launched Slate at Dreamforce in Q4 of 2016, and in 2017 alone it has enjoyed 300 percent growth. She was previously the vice president of product at Mautic, and prior to that she was the director of indirect and international operations at Constant Contact where she helped scale the indirect channel by more than 20 percent year-of-year growth.

Puhm has more than 20 years of experience in customer success, services and account management and support. She will serve as a hands-on advisor and interim head of services at InsightSquared, where she will help the company create a more systematic customer journey by optimizing the overall customer experience. Prior to founding KIA CX Consulting, she served in executive roles at Oracle, Eloqua, Day Software (Adobe), Intelex Technologies and Blueprint Software Systems.

As the newly appointed CMO, Chernov will lead InsightSquared’s go-to-market strategy, account-based marketing initiatives and oversee the implementation of the company’s overall brand vision. He previously served two years as the company’s vice president of marketing, focused on creating market demand and brand awareness. Prior to InsightSquared, Chernov held vice president of marketing roles at HubSpot and Eloqua. Similarly, Sharp will take on a broader, more strategic role guiding InsightSquared leadership on all personnel decisions as it enters its next phase of growth as multi-product company.
