Kellee Barbee Joins On Tap as VP of Human Resources and Cultural Transformation, Edward Flores Named Director of Enterprise Risk Management

GOLDEN, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- On Tap Credit Union®, a leader in providing consumers in local Colorado communities with innovative financial solutions for more than 60 years, today announced the appointment of Kellee Barbee as Vice President, Human Resources and Cultural Transformation, and Edward Flores as Director, Enterprise Risk Management.

Kellee Barbee will oversee all areas of human resources for On Tap Credit Union, from talent acquisition and organizational development to performance management, compensation and benefits, as well as other essential HR functions. She will also lead efforts to establish a strong and supportive workplace culture that strengthens employee retention, promotes customer service excellence and drives business results. Barbee brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to On Tap, having previously served in HR leadership roles for Alcon Laboratories, Inc. – a division of Novartis – and for Toyota Financial Services, Raytheon Company, General Mills, Inc. and Dell Computer. Barbee earned a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Ill., and a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo.

Edward Flores will be responsible for identification, measurement, control and management of enterprise risk for On Tap Credit Union. He will lead the organization’s risk management, fraud prevention and security teams, and oversee the credit union’s compliance, collections and card services functions. Flores has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the On Tap team, he served as loss mitigation manager, asset management specialist and compliance team lead for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He also gained extensive experience in credit risk management, commercial lending and problem loan resolutions through roles with increasing responsibility at the St. Louis, Mo., offices of Citibank, Regions Bank and Premier Bank, and at Granby Colo.-based Grand Mountain Bank. He holds a degree from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wis., and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Fla.
