German exporters face reduced risk of protectionism - institutes

BERLIN, Sept 28 (Reuters) - German exporters still face a threat of rising protectionism, but the risk of additional national measures to limit trade flows has decreased since spring, leading economic institutes said on Thursday.

Presenting their joint forecast for the German economy, the institutes also said that business conditions for exporters in Europe's biggest economy could deteriorate depending on the outcome of Brexit negotiations between the European Union and Britain about London's departure from the bloc.
