NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Griffon Corporation (“Griffon” or the “Company”) (NYSE:GFF) announced that its subsidiary, The Ames Companies, Inc. (AMES), completed the acquisition of Tuscan Landscape Group Pty Ltd (“Tuscan Path”), a leading Australian provider of pots, planters, pavers, decorative stone, and garden décor products. The acquisition will broaden AMES’ global outdoor living and lawn and garden business, and will strengthen AMES’ industry leading position in Australia. The acquisition was completed under the terms of the previously announced purchase agreement entered into on August 25, 2017.
The purchase price for Tuscan Path was approximately US$18 million. The acquisition is expected to contribute approximately US$20 million in annualized revenue and be immediately accretive to Griffon’s earnings in its first full year of operations.
