The Blueshirt Group Adds to Senior Team and Extends Tech IPO Advisory and Investor Relations Leadership

  • New Managing Directors Bring Extensive Capital Markets and Technology Industry Experience
  • Blueshirt Continues to Command Top Market Share in Tech IPOs

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Blueshirt Group today announced new additions to its team that further extend its leadership in IPO advisory, investor relations and capital markets expertise. Ryan Hutchinson and Irmina Blaszczyk have joined as Managing Directors in Blueshirt’s San Francisco headquarters. Both professionals bring significant senior-level experience in the technology sector and capital markets. The teams led by Ryan and Irmina will further strengthen Blueshirt’s technology franchise and contribute to the firm’s leading market share representing technology-related IPOs.

Over the last 18 months, Blueshirt has represented approximately 40% of technology-related IPOs for U.S. companies, including four of the top 10 performing technology IPOs during that period. Since 2010, The Blueshirt Group has worked with more than 75 IPOs. The firm is presently engaged to represent a number of high-quality upcoming IPOs, both U.S. and Asia-based, several of which have already filed publicly with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

“Blueshirt has represented more technology IPOs than any other agency, and the addition of Ryan and Irmina will further extend our position as the ‘go-to’ firm for IPO advisory, investor relations and financial media expertise,” said Blueshirt co-founder Alex Wellins. “Our longstanding client relationships, some of which span more than 15 years, are the direct result of the value we add and the significant return on investment we deliver.”

Ryan Hutchinson is a highly respected former equity research analyst with 18 years of Wall Street experience. Ryan was most recently managing director at Guggenheim Securities, with previous tenures at Pacific Crest Securities (now KeyBanc), Lazard Capital Markets and WR Hambrecht & Company. As an analyst, Ryan’s coverage universe included software, security and networking. He brings extensive domain expertise and deep, longstanding Wall Street and corporate relationships in those sectors. In addition to IPO and investor relations assignments, Ryan will lead Blueshirt’s expansion efforts into new strategic services including M&A mapping and valuation analysis.

Irmina Blaszczyk brings 13 years of internal investor relations and related experience to Blueshirt. She led successful investor relations programs at large public and private companies including Symantec, Brightstar, Advanced Micro Devices and ATI Technologies. Irmina also brings strategy consulting experience from Deloitte. Irmina’s extensive experience in implementing effective investor relations strategies will benefit both Blueshirt’s publicly traded and IPO clients.

In addition to its technology sector leadership, Blueshirt provides investor relations, capital markets expertise and financial media relations services to companies in the energy, agriculture, healthcare and industrial sectors.
