Nutter will join the post-acute solutions provider’s leadership team effective October 9
AGOURA HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Casamba, the leading provider of software solutions for post-acute rehabilitation, home health, and hospice providers, today announced the appointment of Billie Jo Nutter as President, effective Oct. 9, 2017. As President, Nutter will be responsible for the company’s operating units and will help lead Casamba’s ongoing growth initiatives.
Nutter, a deeply experienced healthcare executive, previously served as President and CEO of Brighton Therapy and Rehabilitation, a premier provider of rehab management services, and Senior Vice President of Operations in the Skilled Nursing Division of Avalon Heath Care Group. She brings to Casamba more than 20 years of experience in establishing, launching, and directing healthcare operations, with a track record of creating and growing businesses from inception to multimillion-dollar gross revenues with industry-leading profit margins. Her experience spans the service domain of Casamba’s core customer base, including acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, acute rehabilitation units, skilled nursing facilities, and hospice and home health care agencies.
“For nearly two decades, Billie has built an impressive track record of strategic, operational, and financial accomplishments,” said Jane Moffett, Chief Product Officer of Casamba. “She is a successful, trusted leader who brings to this position a strong reputation for developing people and inspiring teams. Her experience across the healthcare continuum will be a valuable asset as we continue to provide innovative healthcare IT solutions. I could not be more pleased about her appointment to this critical role at an important time for both our company and the healthcare space.”
In addition to her organizational leadership, Nutter has also played an instrumental role in acquisitions and mergers for multiple organizations, realizing industry-specific scalability and improvement in performance, margins, and growth with a cross-practice, cross-border approach. This understanding and application will serve Casamba’s ongoing strategic initiatives, which include the continued integration with the company’s 2016 acquisitions of HealthWyse and TherapySource.
“Billie’s leadership experience, coupled with her strategic thinking and proven ability to deliver results, makes her the right person to help execute our strategic priorities, serve our customers, and drive sustainable growth,” said Ronnie Amrany, Casamba Founder and CEO. “Billie will complement the skills and qualities of our current leadership, making us a formidable team as we work to achieve our goals and continue to advance the growth of the company.”
“I am excited and honored to join the Casamba team and take on this role,” said Nutter. “I look forward to partnering with our talented senior leadership team to deliver on our vision and help accelerate and achieve the strategy we’ve outlined.”
