John Paul Expands Operations with New North American Leadership Team

Premier Digitally-Enabled Concierge Service to Serve North American Clients Across Banking, Luxury, Technology, Automotive, and Hospitality

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- John Paul, the premier digitally-enabled concierge service that was acquired by AccorHotels in 2016, is fast expanding in North America. The company, which provides high-end concierge services as part of customer loyalty programs for corporate clients across banking, luxury, technology, automotive, and hospitality, announces today it tapped Sarah Schultz and Jordan Long to lead business development and Clara Loon to lead partnerships and marketing.

These executive hires follow the June 2017 appointment of Amber Treshnell as CEO, Americas. All four leaders are based in New York, where John Paul will expand its physical footprint with a new flagship. Additional North American staff is based in San Francisco, Miami and Toronto offices.

John Paul’s New York flagship will showcase its Innovation Lab. The company hasn’t yet revealed which technology will be on display. John Paul recently made an acquisition in the Artificial Intelligence space, buying Shuffle, a technology that leverages both AI and predictive data mining to provide John Paul’s concierge customers with highly-personalized recommendations, as well as information on upwardly trending hotspots and prized locations.

“Our legacy and foundation in Europe set the perfect stage for serving current and future North American clients in best-in-class, digital-first ways,” said David Amsellem, Global CEO of John Paul, from the company’s Paris base. “Amber brings unparalleled knowledge of the market from her years in the industry and I’m absolutely confident in her ability to lead the North American teams and to extend John Paul’s brand and reach throughout North America,” he added.

Treshnell shared, “As we expand our North American market share and client base, we’re constantly thinking about the people and digital experiences that will keep us at the cutting edge of luxury concierge services and brand hospitality. I couldn’t be happier to lead the charge for John Paul, such a dominant global company, and to do so from New York as we build our new flagship here, starting with Sarah, Clara, and Jordan, three top hires from their respective fields of concierge, loyalty marketing, and technology start-ups, respectively.”
