On August 26, 2017, Fusion (NASDAQ: FSNN) and Birch Communications Holdings, Inc. ("BCHI"), Birch's parent company, entered into a definitive agreement in which Fusion will acquire the Cloud and Business Services customers, operations and infrastructure of BCHI. Fusion's current CEO, Matthew Rosen, will be the CEO of the combined company following the transaction's close.
