TREASURIES-U.S. longer-dated yields hit 2-week lows after Republican tax plan

NEW YORK, Nov 2 (Reuters) - The yields on longer-dated U.S. Treasury yields fell to near two-week lows on Thursday as Wall Street stocks extended losses in the aftermath of Republicans' release of their plan to slash corporate tax rates and to rewrite the tax code.

At 10:40 a.m. (1440 GMT), benchmark 10-year Treasury yield was down nearly 3 basis points at 2.349 percent and the 30-year bond yield was almost 3 basis points lower at 2.833 percent. (Reporting by Richard Leong)
