MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Douglas Dynamics Inc. (PLOW) on Monday reported third-quarter earnings of $9.3 million.
On a per-share basis, the Milwaukee-based company said it had net income of 40 cents.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 45 cents per share.
The snowplow maker posted revenue of $125.3 million in the period.
Douglas Dynamics expects full-year earnings to be $1.20 to $1.60 per share, with revenue in the range of $450 million to $500 million.
Douglas Dynamics shares have climbed 25 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $42.15, a rise of 59 percent in the last 12 months.
