BUENA, N.J. (AP) _ Teligent Inc. (TLGT) on Monday reported a loss of $6.3 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Buena, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and amortization costs, came to 8 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was breakeven on a per-share basis.
The specialty generic pharmaceutical company posted revenue of $13.7 million in the period, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $19.2 million.
Teligent expects full-year revenue in the range of $65 million to $67 million.
Teligent shares have declined 21 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $5.25, a decrease of 13 percent in the last 12 months.
