PITTSBURGH (AP) _ L.B. Foster Co. (FSTR) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $3.2 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Pittsburgh-based company said it had net income of 31 cents.
The railroad track manufacturer posted revenue of $131.5 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in December, L.B. Foster said it expects revenue in the range of $135 million to $142 million.
L.B. Foster shares have increased 75 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $23.75, an increase of 87 percent in the last 12 months.
