TOKYO (AP) _ Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJI) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $7.1 million.

The Tokyo-based company said it had net income of 8 cents per share.

The internet service provider posted revenue of $379.1 million in the period.

Internet Initiative shares have increased 30 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 24 percent in the last 12 months.
