Janus Henderson misses 3Q profit forecasts

DENVER (AP) _ Janus Henderson Group PLC (JHG) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $99.5 million.

The Denver-based company said it had profit of 49 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 56 cents per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 61 cents per share.

The investment company and asset manager posted revenue of $537.4 million in the period.

Janus Henderson shares have climbed 23 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 30 percent in the last 12 months.
