LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) _ Windstream Holdings Inc. (WIN) on Thursday reported a loss of $101.5 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Little Rock, Arkansas-based company said it had a loss of 55 cents.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 46 cents per share.
The broadband and communications company posted revenue of $1.5 billion in the period, which also missed Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.51 billion.
