HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) _ DHT Holdings Inc. (DHT) on Monday reported a loss of $5.1 million in its third quarter.
The Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of 4 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 10 cents per share.
The independent oil tanker company posted revenue of $84.4 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $54.8 million, also surpassing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $48.5 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit $3.87. A year ago, they were trading at $3.69.
