Reeds reports 3Q loss

LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Reeds Inc. (REED) on Monday reported a loss of $5.6 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Los Angeles-based company said it had a loss of 37 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and asset impairment costs, were 7 cents per share.

The beverage and candy company posted revenue of $10.9 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit $1.90. A year ago, they were trading at $4.25.
