Aramark misses Street 4Q forecasts

PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Aramark Holdings Corp. (ARMK) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $113.1 million.

The Philadelphia-based company said it had profit of 45 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 54 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 56 cents per share.

The provider of food, facilities and uniform services posted revenue of $3.65 billion in the period, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.7 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $373.9 million, or $1.49 per share. Revenue was reported as $14.6 billion.

Aramark expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.10 to $2.20 per share.

Aramark shares have risen 20 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 18 percent in the last 12 months.
