ORADELL, N.J., Nov. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Huntington Learning Center, the nation's leading K-12 tutoring and test prep provider, is proud to announce the appointment of Anne Huntington as Vice President of Business Development. Anne brings over ten years of proven experience in sales and business development within the arts and education industries to her elevated role with the company. Prior to her new position, Anne served as Head of Strategic Partnerships within the family business.

For the past two years, Anne has been focused on the development and launch of Huntington Compensatory Education Services, a program designed to support special education students who have been denied their federal right to a free and appropriate education. To date, this program has hundreds of active participants and is available at select Huntington Learning Centers nationwide. In her new role, she'll lead the expansion of the program across the Huntington system.

In addition, Anne spearheaded Huntington's rebranding initiative with marketing collateral, center signage and a fresh and modern environmental package. She has propelled Huntington's brand and exposure at leading education and franchise events to ensure that Huntington stays ahead of the curve.

"We are so pleased that Anne is taking on this new position," says Eileen Huntington, co-founder and CEO of Huntington Learning Center. "She's been an incredible asset to this company since day one and we cannot wait to see what new initiatives and partnerships she will bring to the table as we continue on our mission to help students across the country."

"I feel honored to take on this new role and contribute to the ever growing and positive impact Huntington Learning Center has made on the lives of students for the past forty years," says Anne Huntington. "I have spent my life building a strong understanding of the capabilities of this team and look forward to merging my expertise from previous experiences to extend our strength of growth into the next decade."
