CANADA STOCKS-TSX rises, energy stocks up as oil at highest since July 2015

TORONTO, Nov 22 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index rose in early trade on Wednesday, with energy stocks gaining as U.S. crude prices hit highs last seen in July 2015.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index was up 40.63 points, or 0.25 percent, at 16,117.28 shortly after the open. Five of its 10 main sectors were higher. (Reporting by Alastair Sharp; Editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
