TORONTO (AP) _ The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $2.14 billion.
The Toronto-based bank said it had earnings of $1.14 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $1.09 per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.11 per share.
The retail and wholesale bank posted revenue of $9.46 billion in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $7.42 billion.
For the year, the company reported profit of $7.95 billion, or $4.21 per share. Revenue was reported as $27.65 billion.
Toronto-Dominion shares have increased 18 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 22 percent in the last 12 months.
