Canvas Worldwide Appoints Kristi Lind as its First Chief Client Officer

NEW YORK, Dec. 04, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Canvas Worldwide, the creative media agency network that approaches every client challenge as a blank canvas, announced today that it has appointed Kristi Lind as Executive Vice President, Chief Client Officer, effective December 13, 2017. Lind will be based in the agency’s Silicon Beach office, located in Playa Vista, California, and will report to Paul Woolmington, CEO, Canvas Worldwide.

In her role as Chief Client Officer, Lind will spearhead all aspects of the business and implement inventive processes and new approaches to the client/agency relationship to deliver a positive experience for brand leaders throughout the media strategy, planning and activation process. She will be responsible for propelling agency innovation and launching enhanced product offerings across Canvas Worldwide’s brand teams to drive agency growth. In addition, Lind will also be part of an internal taskforce that is focused on cultivating the Canvas Worldwide brand and culture.

Lind brings 25 years of experience to Canvas Worldwide across numerous client categories industries that helped her clients earn two Gold Cannes Lions among other prestigious awards. Prior to joining Canvas Worldwide, she served as Managing Director, Global Accounts at OMD for twelve years where she oversaw the Nissan, Infiniti, Activision and Hilton brands. She has category leadership experience across automotive, retail, travel, entertainment and packaged goods industries, and has led media for blue chip brands including Toyota, Ford Brands, and General Mills. Lind has also held roles at Saatchi & Saatchi and Young & Rubicam.

Lind joins a seasoned Canvas Worldwide senior leadership team of industry veterans – including Y.S. Seo, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Amy Ginsberg, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer; and Greg Johns, Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer – to architect and execute the agency’s vision.
