DUBUQUE, Iowa, Dec. 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Heartland Financial USA, Inc. (NASDAQ:HTLF), announced that its board of directors declared a special cash dividend of $0.07 per share on the company's common stock at its meeting Tuesday. The special dividend is payable on December 29, 2017, to stockholders of record at the close of business on December 22, 2017. Together with the four regular cash dividends paid in 2016, the special dividend brings the total dividends paid this year to $0.51 per common share.
