One-third of China households see home prices rising in Q1 2018 - c.bank survey

BEIJING, Dec 19 (Reuters) - About one-third of Chinese households believe housing prices would continue to rise in the first quarter of next year, a survey by China's central bank showed on Tuesday.

The People's Bank of China said its survey of 20,000 households found that 32 percent predicted a price rise, while 48 percent expected housing price to be "basically unchanged."

Both of those percentages were higher than in the survey done for the fourth quarter. (Reporting by Beijing Monitoring Desk; Editing by Sam Holmes)
