CANADA STOCKS-TSX slips as financials and industrials weigh

TORONTO, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index dipped on Monday as financial and industrial shares lost ground, offsetting gains for the healthcare group, which climbed to its highest since March 2016.

The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index fell 15.12 points, or 0.09 percent, to 16,334.32, shortly after the open. Six of the index's 10 main groups were lower. (Reporting by Fergal Smith Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
