TREASURIES-U.S. yields pare rise as U.S. Q4 GDP growth disappoints

NEW YORK, Jan 26 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury yields trimmed their earlier rise on Friday after data showed the U.S. economy grew 2.6 percent in the final quarter of 2017, slower than the 3.0 percent increase forecast among economists polled by Reuters.

At 8:35 a.m. (1335 GMT), the yield on benchmark 10-year Treasury notes was 2.636 percent, up 1.5 basis points from late on Thursday, while the 30-year bond yield was 2.890 percent, up nearly 1 basis point from Thursday's close, Reuters data showed.
