Jan 27 (Reuters) - Qatar's trade surplus last month expanded by over a third from a year earlier, according to data published on Saturday by the Ministry of Development, Planning and Statistics. Exports of petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons rose 21.2 percent to 14.34 billion riyals ($3.94 billion).

NOTE: FOB - free on board, CIF - cost, insurance and freight. Auto imports plunged 44.7 percent from a year earlier to 381 million riyals in December because of the embargo imposed on Qatar by other Arab states, which has disrupted shipments from Dubai, the regional hub for auto trade.
