I started working at CNBC more than three years ago as part of the Digital Product team. I worked with a team of high-caliber, dedicated product managers, designers and developers. It was an exciting time – the digital group had gained momentum, and I was brought on to lead the building of a new subscription product for CNBC. Today, CNBC continues to set new records for digital growth. The work-hard culture is balanced by talented peers who value collaboration and support each other's success.

Since I joined, I've grown professionally in many ways through company-sponsored initiatives. I was invited to join two separate NBCU's Talent Lab programs for Leadership and Financial Acumen. Talent Lab programs are six-month, hands-on training programs focused on having fun while learning and building your network with NBCU. I also joined Women in Tech and attended its annual conference, where I learned about exciting NBCU and Comcast initiatives like AI, VR and cybersecurity and heard from the company's most senior leaders. IGNITE is also an inspiring and informative on-campus program that lines up external and internal speakers across all disciplines and areas of career development for a fantastic two-three days.

The opportunities to grow and learn have been plentiful. To top it off, six months ago, I transferred to the Corporate Strategy and Business Development group. I viewed this as a natural progression as I looked for new challenges within the company, while continuing to use my digital product expertise. I'm proud to be a part of CNBC's digital growth and look forward to contributing to its ambitious goals.
