U.S. SEC's chief enforcement accountant to leave agency

WASHINGTON, Jan 30 (Reuters) - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced Tuesday its chief accountant for enforcement matters would leave the agency next month.

Michael Maloney had led the enforcement division's Office of Chief Accountant since 2014, helping to oversee the agency's probes into accounting, auditing and financial reporting. (Reporting by Pete Schroeder; Editing by Lisa Shumaker)
