CryoLife reports 4Q loss

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) _ CryoLife Inc. (CRY) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Kennesaw, Georgia-based company said it had a loss of 9 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 11 cents per share.

The biological medical device maker posted revenue of $52.8 million in the period.

CryoLife expects full-year earnings in the range of 29 cents to 32 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $250 million to $256 million.

CryoLife shares have increased almost 4 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $19.90, a rise of 25 percent in the last 12 months.
